I am lucky in that my daughter loves food. She will eat ANYTHING! In fact, her dad thinks it’s funny to feed her blue cheese ‘cause she makes horrible faces, but still eats it. Meanie!
(Please click “Read More” to enjoy my absolute thrill over HappyBaby!)
I’m also thrilled with the frozen toddler foods. SO CONVENIENT! However, I’ve fed Zel mostly homemade foods with an emphasis on trying flavors and spices. The HappyBites are good, but very mild. Zel has tried the mac & cheese (includes organic cauliflower, organic chickpeas, organic butternut squash…), the chicken bites (a favorite!), and the veggie tots (ok, I ate more of these than she did… they’re delicious!).
Since Zel eats snacks at least 3 times a day, I really love the Organic Puffs and Yogurt Melts. Since Zel has a 30 second window of when she realizes she’s ready for a meal and when she NEEDS FOOD NOW, I love the convenience of having some frozen HEALTHY foods ready to pop in the microwave. But my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE…
The HappyTot Organic Superfoods. These are foods in a squeezeable pouch. I chose what I considered to be the grossest combo for Zel’s first taste: spinach, mango & pear. WHAT A COMBO! *SLURP.* GONE! *Baby frantically grabbing for pouch to get more.* I licked up a spill (something only a mom would do!), and was surprised that I liked it too! Honestly, I’m now carrying around the empty pouch in my purse waiting for the day I see the Manager of my grocery store. I’m handing it over and begging him to order some! This is the PERFECT thing to throw in my purse. When Zel’s close to a mealtime and we’re on the go and won’t get the meal at her normal time, I can s q u e e z e this into her mouth, she’s satisfied and chuck full of antioxidans, fiber, protein, omega-3s & Salba (a super grain that’s gluten-free).
But, you don’t have to take my word for it, Dr. Sears… the baby guru… recommends all of the HappyBaby products!
There are so many more GREAT products, but I doubt you have the time to let me ramble on and on about how impressed I am with these products. Trust me, for those days when you’re just too {lazy} to purree your own baby food (really, who has time to make salmon purree or my favorite, their baby dahl & mama grain cubes)… no problem, pull out HappyBaby cubes and feel confident that you are giving your mini-me healthy & delicious foods!
